Hear the Word as It's Written

A Fall, Filled With Thanksgiving

There are tests of our truths daily. Moment by moment it could even be said. Nevertheless, humanity, a man, endures and grows to be better for it nd more able to explain the path to others. That’s a reason I think the Apostle Paul is so revered. He endured and not only grew because of it. He helped others grow because and during the process.

I say all of that to say.

Thank God for progression! Thank God for the gifts and the strains because sometimes growing hurts. But, it is always good.

I’m looking forward to some big things in the coming year but I can’t forget to pause and say thank you to those and He, they who made life possible for me. I don’t often personalize my faith journey. Yet it seems appropriate to, as Paul did, give public thanks to God for his hand in and on my life. Praise Him!

Praise Him for seed to scatter, to sow! Praise Him for seed to care for and watch grow into fruit! Praise Him for a well-being and being well in His light! Praise God!

This year and this time of year comes with a change in weather and also a change in the planting field. As I gain a more permanent base of operation. This finish to the year sows seeds that promise to bring God great glory and greater fruit from a life more transformed into the image of truth and wisdom and faith. This year I give thanks. I offer these words of prayer going forward.

May God, the God of Peace, continue to bless His people. Strengthen and encourage those in need to go further than they’ve been and do greater than they have in the past. This being a year of miracles. Let the rivers of God’s grace and incomparable mercy flood the cities with signs and wonders of His great bounty for all who call His name.
