Every actor craves an audience. Actor being a symbol or metaphor for us beings called human. We, since we learned how, want to share a message. We want to be heard and understood. Which means in some cases the thoughts speak legibly, write legibly – create… a vision that can be understood by as many as possible without explanation, or with limited explanation. That is the essence of art or the artistic voice – finding those who appreciate what you have to say.
Conceding for a moment there is a financial motivation that rears its head from time to time. The artist. Any artist. Simply wants to be heard.
Whether a simple prayer or a resounding word… Whether you’re seeking an audience with God or men. The answer most are looking for first and primarily is – I hear You! I respect what you have to say! Here’s my response or the response!
We look for it amongst ourselves. From God? We seek it and sometimes it comes and sometimes it comes in a way we have to work to understand. Either way – we need an answer, but we seek first a response. A response or recognition – a reaction. That’s the most appropriate thought – a reaction. As I said,
Every actor needs an audience. And in some worldview, we’re all actors. We’re all trying to be heard. Trying to stand out away from the pack. To have our voices known. Yet Jesus already answered this.
The Word from God already spoke to this and speaks to this. His Spirit already answered this thought. Matthew 10:30-32 expresses, “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”
In simpler terms, we have the acknowledgment. We have an acknowledgment. Stand firm – until we hear the response! Stand Firm! Remain committed and He will see it (you), through.
Thank You – Amazing God!
This devotional word was initially meant to be an announcement of my acceptance as a moderator of Christian poetry. However, thanks be to God; it is more to me and for you. We are blessed and We are heard in that We respect (fear) God. Be blessed!
