It’s easy to start a journey on an idea. You may go a little way before you encounter the first resistance. Yet, how do you respond -when it inevitably comes? Trouble? Danger?
Are you gonna go back? Or risk foraging ahead?
That’s the question we face today. It’s a question faced everyday and though the answer remains the same. It continually has to be asked and answered. I’m pushing forward. I’m writing, riding till the wheels fall off and the engine dies and there are no longer friends and family to help carry me up to the roof and though it to my savior.
I remind myself of my bully angels and also the strong friendships which make me stronger.
They say it takes a village. I think it’s true and needs to be said more. Christ said where two or three are gathered in my name… Well the village, the tribe, you choose is important. As important as the individual -you.
I think over the course of this year I’ve had to find myself. Rediscover my identity and make it known. A public declaration if you will. Reconfirming, God is my author. Christ is sharing a story about me in his light and I may well be troubled but everything is going to be alright.
